Attorney Maureen M. Lawson
Maureen received her undergraduate degree at Marquette University, and her Juris Doctrine from John Marshall Law School. Following her graduation, she was employed as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Winnebago County. She then went on to become an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois.
Prior to joining Canfield McKenna and Lawson, Maureen operated Lawson Law Office, LLC. Her primary focus was as a Certified Guardian ad Litem in Boone, Ogle, and Winnebago County. Maureen is a lifelong resident of Rockford. She has devoted her career to helping the community by assisting parents and children who are involved in the Juvenile and Family Court System. In her spare time, Maureen enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
